Mnemonic Devices (Improve Your Memory)
In this episode, we learn about MNEMONICS. This is another word for memory aids - tools you can use to improve your memory and recall. This is one of the most important aspects of being a great student - remembering what you are trying to learn! One of the first mnemonics was the “method of loci,” also known as the “Mind Palace.” This involves associating what you want to remember with a particular place (or a pathway). Other mnemonic devices include making acronyms, or making sentences out of the first letters of the words you need to memorize.
