EinsteiniumEinsteinium

Einsteinium is the chemical element with atomic number 99 and chemical symbol Es. Einsteinium is not a naturally occurring elemnt. It was discovered by workers at Los Alamos in the radioactive debris from the first hydrogen bomb explosion, and was named after Albert Einstein. It can be synthesized in high-power nuclear reactors from the decay of californium-253. Einsteinium is a soft, silvery metal in the actinide series. It glows due to its high radioactivity.
